Harness your Mac.
Not another app. One menu bar icon that works behind the ones you have.

Keep your flow.
Take what you need.
Add the rest when you're ready.
Leave them off, and Kanary stays light.

A little help.
A big difference.
Turn on more, and it's still one menu bar icon.

Tried it on a real meeting of about an hour. It transcribed blazingly fast, and the accuracy is really good. I'd been using Gemini in Google Meet, but when someone sent a Zoom or Teams link, I had to ask them. Now I can do it all myself.
Kanary has speaker labels now! I can finally retire the Anker AI recorder I was only using for speaker labels. An app every Mac user should be using.
Had a meeting with someone in the US on Kanary, and thanks to live translation it went really well! It ran about an hour, so first I’ll go through the recording for next actions.
Finally tried Kanary. This is amazing. Transcribing YouTube and podcast audio is so easy. It’s accurate, and above all the app is light. And it even works offline, which is almost too much to take in.
Kanary is really good. Nothing flashy, just solid through and through. You really feel the benefit of local processing. It works fine even at events with no internet, which is a huge help.
For the first time, I ran a meeting while recording it with Kanary. Now I know how handy it is to have AI agents busily working away during the meeting.
