Prices in USD, billed annually. A Personal license covers up to five active Macs. Sign into the same Kanary account on each, and revoke a Mac from your account page when you hit the limit. Your household can share a Personal or Pro license the same way.

Personal or Pro: which do I need?
Pick Personal for the menu bar app. It unlocks everything inside Kanary. Pick Pro if you drive Kanary from the command line or AI workflows: it adds full-length transcripts through the CLI and removes the monthly cap on advanced summaries.
How do advanced summaries work?
They use the ChatGPT or Claude app already signed in on your Mac, with your own subscription. Kanary sends the transcript to the app you pick, only when you pick it. Each recording counts at most once per calendar month, and regenerating is free.
Is there a recording limit on Free?
No. The full audio is always saved. Free transcribes the first 1 hour 15 minutes, and you can re-transcribe later after upgrading.
Can I switch plans?
Yes. Switch between Personal and Pro from the billing portal on your account page. Moving to Team credits the unused part of your current period to the first Team invoice.
